香港亞洲電影節2009經已完滿結束! 恭喜第六屆亞洲新導演獎由執導《讓我戀愛吧》 Heiran 的導演Shalizeh Arefpour奪得!得獎作品由三位評審選出，包括韓國富川國際電影節節目策劃朴鎮享先生、NETPAC France主席Mr. Max Tessier，以及香港藝術中心節目經理趙嘉薇小姐。
HKAFF 2009 has been successfully closed. Congratulations to Shalizeh Arefpour, director of Heiran who has won the New Talent Award of HKAFF 2009. This year, we are honoured to have three renowned guests as our jury members, including Mr. Jin Park, Programmer of Puchon International Film Festival, Mr. Max Tessier, Chairman of NETPAC France and Ms. Edith Chiu, Program Manager of HK Arts Centre.
導演杜海濱親自到港出席交 流活動，與觀眾分享其紀錄片的拍攝理念及心得。《1428》剛於第六十六屆威尼斯電影節獲得地平線單元最佳紀錄片獎，而電影節期上映的《1428》亦是此得獎版本，十分難得。
Mr. Du Haibin, director of the documentary film 1428, had come all the way long to attending HKAFF Q&A. 1428 is awarded Orizzonti Prize for documentary in the 66th Venice International Film Festival. We are happy and honored to screen this awarded version during HKAFF 2009.

香港亞洲電影節開幕禮已於十月十五日隆重舉行! 多位遠道而來的開幕電影嘉賓包括田壯壯、小田切讓、朴贊郁及本年電影節大使楊采妮等在台上祝酒，為電影節正式揭幕。其他到場嘉賓亦有張艾嘉、許鞍華、楊凡等，場面盛況空前!
HKAFF grand opening ceremony had already held on Oct 15! The guests from the opening films including Tian Zhuang Zhuang, Joe Odagiri, Park Chan-wook and hkaff ambassador Charlie Young were all there on the stage to greet the audience and press. Other guests such as Sylvia Chang, Ann Hui and Yon Fan had also come to support the festival

港亞洲電影節現正密鑼緊鼓籌備各項活動，首映禮將於十月十五日晚上九時於 Palace IFC 盛大舉行。兩大開幕電影《狼災記》及《飢渴誘罪》的嘉賓將遠道而來出席首映禮，敬請密切留意!
The opening ceremony of HKAFF 2009 will be held at 9pm, Oct 15 at Palace IFC. We are honored to have the valuable guests from both opening films, The Warrior and the Wolf and Thirst to attend the ceremony. Keep an eye on our news!
