| 經過前兩次的洗禮，麥浚龍終首執導演筒，尋回失落的香港殭屍。找來《咒怨》的清水崇作監製，誓要把東方神秘的術符咒集結成潮流影像。片中不無向大師致敬誠意，但又極具個人風格，令人看得血脈沸騰。看似影像主導的作品，劇情原來更耐人尋味。單是錢小豪的角色設定，盡顯劇本層次。錢小豪是自己也是殭屍先生又是戲中的小豪，獨自走進荒廢了的屋邨，入住2442，遇上愛夫的主婦鮑姐，念父的道士陳友，愛子的瘋女紅姐，故事詭秘之餘又充滿人性掙扎。其實電影與人生才是主菜，一句｢人生原來比電影更荒謬｣，道盡現實的恐怖。在一個沒有將來的地方，沒有什麼比重新出發更有意義。咸尼斯影展足本版首次於香港上映。 | Siu-ho is a washed-up horror actor who has resorted to living in a public housing estate. Before he can follow through on his suicide plan, spirits show up from all directions to claim his soul, revealing a new world that he thought had only existed in his movies. In his directorial debut, pop star Juno Mak pays homage to the classic Hong Kong vampire films of the 1980’s with appearances by Mr. Vampire stars Chin Siu-Ho (playing an alternate reality version of himself) and Anthony Chan and even a contemporary version of the hopping vampires from those films. Co-produced by The Grudge director Takashi Shimizu, Rigor Mortis is an eerie and visually striking spectacle that ushers in a new era of Hong Kong horror cinema.
