《甘草與最佳男主角》
他是電影裡的男主角，與其他演員一同「演戲」，美女、孩童、神父、上司都是他的對手。戲外，原班人馬在現實生活中的性格大大不同。在真真假假、曖昧不明的界線徘徊，在分不清亦不用分得清楚的心情下，他，戲中的主角在現實世界裡做了一個關乎人生的決定。

曾奉基 ─
2003年畢業於香港理工大學設計學院，先後從事廣告及電影工作，現為五斗米成員之一。作品《我的四份一世紀》獲第六屆香港獨立短片及錄像比賽動畫組金獎。作品曾參與歐亞多個影展，屬本地少產年青動畫家。其他作品包括未公開的《Where No Film Reel Has Gone Before》，《甘草與最佳男主角》是其第二部獨立動畫創作。

鍾兆龍─
現就讀數碼視覺設計，熱愛電影、藝術及動畫創作。

The Great Actors and the Citizen
He is the male lead in the film,"acting" with other actors who play pretty girl, kid, priest or his superior. The casts, however, are markedly different in character when the camera is off. Hovering between the real and phony, the blurred and the ambiguous, he can't, and doesn't care to, mark out the difference. He, the male lead in the film, makes a life-changing decision in the real world.

Snowman Tsang
Graduated 2003 from the Design School of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tsang had worked in advertising and the film industry. He is now a member of rice 5. Insisting in making one work every two years, he hopes to do his part in promoting local animation and cinema creation. His work The Quartum of My Century won the Gold Award in the 6th ifva Animation Category and was selected for participation in various Asian and European film festivals. A locally nurtured young animator, his other work includes the unreleased Where No Film Reel Has Gone Before. The Great Actors and the Citizen is his second independent animation creation.

Thomas Chung
