Uma Thurman stars in Quentin Tarantino's fourth
film venture, Kill Bill. Thurman plays a character
known as the nameless Bride, a pregnant assassin
who is attacked by her boss, Bill, on her wedding
day. She survives and after being in a coma for
five years, she wakes to seek revenge to related
party. A tribute to the Japanese master of gangster
thriller, Kinji Fukasaku, Kill Bill obviously demonstrates
the die-hard passion of Taratino towards Asian
cinema, celebrating his fascination in ritualistic
samurai swordsmanship, kung-fu genre and Japanese
anime. A postmodernist turn to an arena where cultural
hybrid is the norm, pastiche celebrated, but aura
is dead. Don't miss the icon trademark of Shaw
Bros in the beginning!

A strange man known only as the "metal fetishist", who seems to have an insane compulsion to stick scrap metal into his body,
is hit and possibly killed by a Japanese "salaryman". The salaryman then notices that he is being slowly overtaken by some kind of
disease that is turning his body into scrap metal,
and that his nemesis is not in fact dead but is
somehow masterminding and guiding his rage and
frustration-fueled transformation. Tetsuo is a
relentlessly energetic film made at a time when
the energy had all but disappeared from Japanese
film in 80's. The overwhelming industrial styled
scores, mosaic editing and camerawork, set to an
exaggerated brain-pounding audiovisual experience.

上集的鐵男在廢棄的鋼鐵廠中，集合一群壯漢試驗人機合一的可能性，一家三口淪為白老鼠。小孩被擄走，父親被槍傷，精神刺激逼使他變成巨型的機體救回小孩，也展開了人類與機械的對決。比第一集少了工業化味道，相對多了寓言式的深長意味，為整個鐵男系列下定義。看完第一集，抵得住的抵不住的都該再接再厲再受挑戰。

up the mutative process! As unique and compelling
as its predecessor, Tetsuo 2 keeps mixing awesome
violence with darkly surreal imagery to create
a visual experience that still leaves you breathless.
Fans of David Lynch and David Cronenberg will find
his dangerous visions just as creatively disturbing.
