The young and handsome Omar is a West Bank revolutionary aspiring to fight off the Israeli military occupation. But while he is captured one day and put in jail for the senseless murder of a soldier he committed with two childhood friends and accomplices, a suspicion of treachery – if not also the persistent threat of violence – soon plunges the freedom fighter into a downward spiral of physical and emotional torture. Is there really a stoolpigeon in their mix – and who could it be? The outrageous ending alone will blow you away. |
