| 在東京電影節連獲兩獎，代表南韓出戰奧斯卡《少年第一繭》的命運可謂與電影中的主角完全相反。身負大量前科的不良少年智久和重病臥床的爺爺相依為命，與少女偷嚐禁果，卻因一次的結伴遊玩而被控入室行竊，送入勞教所。誰料爺爺因缺乏照顧病重離世，找來了拋棄他的媽媽來當監護人。久別重逢的他們希望就此可安然過活，只可惜這麼基本的想法一一被社會徹底拒絕。不久，女友懷了他的孩子而被趕出家門，智久與母親自此互相指責，最終各自天涯。母親選擇了黃色事業去維持生計，智久則因打架再被送入勞教所。母子相遇原來只是社會病癥循環的起點。 | While serving time in a juvenile detention center, Jin-gu (Seo Young-ju) learns that the grandfather who raised him has died and the mother (Lee Jung-hyun) who abandoned him is alive. Upon his release, mother and son start anew as a family for the first time, both hesitant yet hopeful in their reconciliation. It soon becomes apparent, however, that Jin-gu's immature mother can barely take care of herself. Drawing on a greater social context of the struggles of single mothers and troubled youth, Kang Yi-kwan's naturalistic family drama is achingly perceptive in its depiction of coming of age and coming to terms with the same cycle of habitual mistakes. |
