憑《一首搖滾上月球》感動無數觀眾，黃嘉俊導演繼續證明「所謂感動，不只是流流眼淚」。人的價值從何判斷？社會地位？財富高低？有種人，一身殘疾不事生產，他的存在就沒有意義？無法為自己發聲，尊嚴何在？台南一間被遺忘的五甲教養院，每到颱風季節必定淹水。這裡卻是一些腦部病患容身的家，他們有老有少，身心都忍受著不同程度的疾病和傷害，歡迎著往來不絕的慈善家志願者⋯⋯我們習慣為這些「弱勢者」貼上標籤，為這些「慈善機構」畫上功能，我們闖入他們的生活「做慈善」，以此作為自我身分的表彰，卻忽視了生命之於他們到底是何模樣。紀錄片以嶄新的方式呈現殘酷現實，在溫柔的鏡頭地下，蘊藏著無限的控訴和反思。

Located in a desolate area in Tainan is the Wuja Nursing Home. The facility is flooded every year during typhoon season, and yet it’s the permanent residence of a number of patients, and each is “disadvantaged” or “disabled”, depending on which label is used. But too often the stories of these people are told by those who claim to help them – charitable organizations or performative persons looking to raise their own profiles. If given the opportunity, how would these disadvantaged individuals portray their own lives?
