改編自表千家茶道教授森下典子《日日是好日──茶道帶來的十五種幸福》一書，當年20歲的她，逢星期六到自家附近的茶道教室跟老師學習茶道，不經不覺過了20多年。由最初對茶道一無所知，慢慢掌握「先形後心」等茶道知識;習茶時度過的無數春、夏、秋、冬，經歷了求職、失戀，身邊重要的人去世等重要人生階段，讓典子在茶道世界裡體悟到大自然與人生哲理，逐漸領略到剛學茶道時茶室牆上的字畫「日日是好日」的真正含意。憑《再見溪谷》(第11屆)贏得日本電影藍絲帶獎最佳導演獎的大森立嗣自編自導，演技派演員黑木華飾演典子，樹木希林飾演她的茶道老師。人雖已走，茶卻不涼，樹木希林最後向我們送上一碗洋溢哲理的溫暖好茶，餘韻無窮。

Director Omori Tatsushi (Tada's Do-it-all House: Disconcerto, Ravine of Goodbye, HKAFF 11th) adapts the essay into this transcendent drama. A loving tribute to one of Japan’s most beloved cultural traditions, the film traces the journey of a woman who comes to view the art form as a constant, comforting presence through all of life’s challenges. In one of her final roles, legendary actress Kiki Kirin commands the screen as Morishita’s strict, but caring tea ceremony teacher.
