45歲北漂大叔陸慶屹不曾拍過電影,2013年春節回到貴州老家時忽發奇想,開始自學拍片,投資1,500元人民幣買下三腳架,用相機和手機紀錄眼前父母陸運坤和李桂賢的一切,年復年拍下兩位老人家多麼美麗動人的畫面。陸氏伉儷相濡以沫50年,在貴州偏遠山區過著淳樸的生活,片初聚焦他們閒時的幸福時光,勞動、歌唱、出遊山野,到後來探親、喪葬,人生悲歡離合,對彼此不離不棄。陸慶屹的紀實首作在第12屆FIRST青年電影展技驚四座,引起了巨大迴響,令不少老年夫妻相偕上影院觀看。

Lu Qingyi was just an ordinary man without any filmmaking background or training. Inspired by the desire to record his parents and the encouraging words Hou Hsiao-hsien once said in an interview, he invested ¥1500 in a tripod and began shooting in 2013. Every year during the Spring Festival, Lu returned to his remote hometown in Guizhou and filmed his music-loving father and hardy mother who have spent half a century together. Capturing the aged couple’s daily lives over four springs, this simple, warm and deeply moving documentary goes back to not only the roots of family but also of filmmaking.
