The internet connects two strangers confronting the spectre of death in Bon An’s sophomore feature. Appearing in her first Taiwan film, award-winning Hong Kong veteran Nina Paw plays Lili who has been diagnosed with terminal illness. Instead of seeking treatment, she decides to live – and live stream – her last 100 days to the fullest. Her online adventures alienate her daughter but reach Sen Sen, a lonely young boy who recently lost his brother and feels disconnected from his mother who numbs grief with work. An unlikely friendship forms between Lili and Sen Sen as they help each other come to terms with fractured families and the meaning of death.
