老人年屆八十獨自住在平溪，兒女皆各有家庭定居台北。一次胃痛入院，令兒子和女兒為老人院的話題而爭執，最後他因一場意外而入住了安老院。孫兒要結婚，女兒專程帶他為孫兒的婚禮訂造西裝，但原來西裝對他而言，有著特別意義。導演洪伯豪首部電影長片，通過真摯感人的親情故事，反映人口老化、長者照顧、面對死亡的問題。演技爐火純青的小戽斗飾演主角金茂，與飾演女兒的黃嘉千的對手戲舉重若輕，雙雙贏得台北電影獎項。
