Yoko, the host of a Japanese television travel show, travels to the small nation of Uzbekistan with a small crew for her latest assignment. The trip was meant to be another shallow travelogue featuring the usual exotic destinations, but a series of events forces Yoko to reexamine her life and dreams along the way. Veteran director Kurosawa Kiyoshi (Cure, Pulse) takes a break from the horror genre with this gorgeous and thoughtful road film that slyly pokes fun at show business clichés and makes us think about how we look at other cultures.
