The Ukraine emergency has allowed us to witness how people work together to support millions of people forced to flee and provide them with shelters and care, leading to the theme of this year’s World Refugee Day – “The Right to Seek Safety”. This Festival is also to raise fund for our global emergency preparedness and response activities that need our urgent assistance. To amplify the message of “Whoever, wherever, whenever. Everyone has a right to seek safety” to audiences, a series of films and short videos are going to be screened in this 15th Charity Refugee Film Festival. Fundraising Target: HK$200,000 Can support any our global emergency preparedness and response activities that need our urgent assistance, such as providing psychosocial support to 250 children who suffered through crisis like the Ukraine situation, including access to outreach activities, day care centres, and child-friendly spaces.
