旅法攝影師盧晟（王兵《夾邊溝》攝影）的導演處女作，以華人離散經驗與幽微情感處理拉近上海、巴黎、大興安嶺之間的距離。來自東北的國光（呂聿來）在上海一家牛肉麵館打工，哥哥是大興安嶺森林養鹿人。餐廳老闆老陸（姚安濂）喪妻多年，兒子陸浩在法國留學。陸浩因為錢包、護照被搶，只得到中餐館打工，移居法國60年的房東老劉（王德順）與陸浩逐漸情同父子。國光在餐館偶遇好久不見的川妹子小夏（黃璐），小夏現在做保險，兩人曾有一段情。
French-based cinematographer Lu Sheng (Director of Cinematography for Wang Bing’s The Ditch)’s directorial debut, Here, There compresses the distance between Shanghai, Paris, and the Greater Khingan Range of northeast China with subtle sensibilities through the Chinese diasporic experiences. Guoguang (Lv Yulai) works in a beef noodle restaurant in Shanghai. His older brother, a Reindeer-Evenki herdsman, stays behind amid the taiga of the Greater Khingan Range. Widower for many years, the restaurant owner Old Lu (Yao Anlian) has a son Lu Hao, who studies abroad in Paris. Robbed of his wallet and passport, Lu Hao has to work in a Chinese restaurant to pay for his rent. He develops a father-son relationship with his landlord Liu (Wang Deshun), who has immigrated to Paris for 60 years. Guoguang meets Xia, a Sichuanese girl who sells insurance, in the Shanghai restaurant. They seem to have known each other. |
