而是寄去上海。可愛笨狗歐弟誤入包裹，加菲貓只好展開救援行動。在上海機場，加菲貓誤拿行李箱，拿到長相跟Nermal一樣的金貓雕像。金貓雕像不僅是千年國寶，還藏有關於中國福倉龍寶藏的祕密，但加菲貓與歐弟一心只想拿金貓雕像換吃港式飲茶。且看加菲貓、歐弟如何救出Nermal（還有主人老姜！），並與中國同伴吃米飯、學功夫、尋國寶，阻止瘋狂女高音的興建音樂廳計畫。
Nermal, the self-claimed “cutest kitten in the whole world,” is narcissistic as usual. But this time, Garfield doesn’t ship him to Abu Dhabi but mails him to Shanghai. The goofy dog Odie mistakenly gets himself into the box so Garfield has to come to his rescue. In the Shanghai airport, Garfield mistakenly takes the suitcase enclosing a golden cat statue that resembles Nermal. The golden cat statue is not only thousand years old but also bears the key to the Chinese national treasure guarded by a dragon. However, all Garfield wants to do is sell the statue in exchange for tasty dim-sum.
