An ordinary man Oh Dae-su is kidnapped and locked in a private prison. His beloved wife was brutally murdered. Fifteen years have passed, Dae-su is released and swears to take revenge. A girl named Mido appears and promises to help him seek vengeance after hearing his story. With Mido's help, Dae-su finally encounters the kidnapper, Woo-jin. He proposes that if Dae-su discovers the reason for imprisonment in five days then he will kill himself. If not, he will kill Mido. Dae-su finds out the reason behind, however, a hidden secret about Dae-su and Mido's are revealed. OLD BOY is the second part of director Park Chan-wook's violent series of revenge. The film displays Park's gorgeous techniques on direction. Stunning editing, well-structured story and lively cinematography worked cohesively to blend a brilliant knockout of Korean Film.
