Stealing Angel(EUFF2025)
Maria works as a home help for elderly people. Her dream is to see her grandson become a great pianist. To pay for the piano, she steals, here and there, small sums of money from the people she takes care of with devotion. However, her actions catch up with her when charges are pressed against her for exploiting vulnerable adults. Marseille director Robert Guédiguian returns to L'Estaque, the original stronghold of his cinema, with this light-hearted social comedy-drama that brings both joy and tears.
