Cinema Strada is a sentimental memoir film about Hong Kong through the life and times of Law Kar. Having dedicated his life to cinema and the arts, he shows how cinema accompanied him through the complicated and ever-changing world. From his earliest memories of the war, through the polarised era of the Cold War and boom era in HK to today, Law Kar reflects on the ebbs of flows of time and the challenges in deciphering truth from lies, and probes the role of art in times of crisis.
