In Andalusia, Don Salluste, Minister of His Majesty the King of Spain, collects tax. It is the poor who pay the most and this seems normal to Don Salluste, a greedy man, who thinks only of getting rich. One day, he learns that he is banished from the King's Court because of an illegitimate child he would have had with a servant. Sallustre decides to take revenge.
