Synopsis

Terrified of sheep and dosed up on therapy, Henry Oldfield returns to his family’s farm to sell out to his older brother Angus, unaware that something baaaad is going on: Angus’ reckless genetic engineering program.

When a pair of inept environmental activists release a mutant lamb from Angus’ laboratory onto the farm, thousands of sheep are turned into bloodthirsty predators. Along with farmhand Tucker and greenie girl Experience, Henry finds himself stranded deep on the farm as his worst nightmare comes to life.

About the Film and the Director

Inspired by Peter Jackson’s grand tradition of Kiwi splatter and use of physical effects, Jonathan King’s collaborated with Richard Taylor and his Academy Award-winning team at Weta Workshop to make a refreshing horror comedy packed with deliberate clichés and subtle allusions.

With a background in magazine editing and art direction, Jonathan King has directed many television commercials and over 100 music videos. This is his debut feature film. He has just finished his second, The Tattooist.

故事簡介

患上恐羊症的亨利回到家鄉，打算把祖傳的牧羊場轉售給哥哥安格斯，毫不察覺哥哥的基因工程實驗室，正在製造驚天動地的……災難。

那邊廂，盲衝直撞的環保分子從安格斯的實驗室放走了一頭突變的羔羊，導致成千上萬的羊變成嗜血的喪屍，災情擴散，比沙士禽流感更加恐怖。恐羊的亨利、管羊農場職員德加，再加上環保姑娘歷歷，如何赤手空拳喚醒新西蘭的噩夢呢？

導演與製作

繼新西蘭電影之寶彼得．積遜舉世讚嘆的特技成就，導演尊尼頓．金與奪得奧斯卡金像獎的《魔戒三部曲》特技工作室，以李察．泰來為首的原班人馬，一同打造新西蘭特種黑色喜劇，驚嚇之中滲透幽默和隱喻。

尊尼頓．金有豐富的雜誌編輯及美術指導的經驗，曾執導多部電視廣告片及過百音樂錄像作品。《喪屍羔羊》是他的首部劇情長片，第二部作品《The Tattooist》剛告完竣。
