喜愛舞台劇的人必定認識黃浩義（黄浩沂），這位被喻為香港舞台劇之父，1995代拍罷極具爭議性的獨立電影《雷雨》，蟄伏近廿載把封塵的劇本搬上銀幕。真人真事改編，以火紅的六十年代的香港為背景，愛國學校師生毛主席語錄不離手，東方紅樂曲不離口，高叫毛主席萬歲！老師厲斥殖民地奴化教育誤人子弟，把紅衛兵思想往學生腦子裡灌，資本主義出身的永不翻身，一場無產階級VS反洗腦抗命，卻因為一個足球而悄悄地起展開！今時今日，國民教育的討論再次駁通不歸的迴廊，黃浩義有話要說，更客串老師一角。

In 1970, during the height of the Cultural Revolution in China, Hong Kong student Chan Wah-Keung gets transferred by his father to a leftist school that follows the teachings of Chairman Mao rather than the British colonial government’s education policy. Branded a bourgeois by his stern and zealous homeroom teacher, Wah-Keung has a hard time fitting into a school system where he must wave the Little Red Book and write self-criticisms for his many mistakes. The second feature film directed by Hong Kong theatre pioneer Ho Yi, Red Passage sheds light on the experiences of students in patriotic schools in the 60s and 70s.
