He is fascinated by every kind of shows, and soon buys a camera… Based on notes written by Varda’s husband – her peer French New Wave filmmaker Jacques Demy, the charming film is an evocation of Jacques Demy’s childhood and his vocation for cinema and musicals, telling the story of the cineaste’s youth and memories.
