Single father Randy (Allen Dizon) struggles between keeping his job at a casket factory and raising an eight year-old daughter on his own. When she falls ill, he gives her the wrong medication – a mistake that leads to her untimely passing. Stricken with guilt and grief, Randy finds it hard to properly bury his daughter’s body or to forget his role in her death. Written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana (The Spider’s Lair), this stirring drama about the financial and emotional costs of death is set in Santo Tomas, a small town in the province of Pampanga known as the “casket capital” of the Philippines because of its thriving coffin-making industry.
