(Conducted in Cantonese) Legend of the Mountain (Restored) 書生何雲青（石雋）受海印寺法圓上人之託，抄寫經書《大手印》以超度亡靈。因為需要清幽靜心的環境，來到邊城工作，抵目的地後獲熱心鄰居王媽媽（徐彩虹）設宴洗塵，一夜宿醉醒來，竟發現與其女兒樂娘（徐楓）同處房中，雲青被迫娶她為妻。原來王氏母女乃陰間厲鬼，旨在偷取雲青抄完的經書；當地番僧試圖阻撓，但不敵樂娘妖術，於是與道長聯手。雲青結識另一對鬼母女莊夫人及依雲（張艾嘉），從此夾陷在僧、道與鬼魂的角力鬥法、人鬼之間的愛戀迷情、厲鬼與善鬼之間的忌妒爭執… 《山中傳奇》的故事改編自《宋人話本之西山一窟鬼》，是胡金銓在韓國同期拍攝的兩部影片之一（另一部為《空山靈雨》），但當年票房和評論均一敗塗地，胡金銓被逼把184分鐘的公映版本刪剪至100分鐘重新發行，應是他創作生涯上的最大挫折。40年後重新檢視，卻不難發現，影片其實是胡金銓最冒險、最大膽奔放的嘗試：潘朵拉盒子式的結構、音樂與映像的撞擊與結合、露骨的情慾描寫、徐楓從俠女到妖女的變身演出、對中國傳統儒士的嘲諷、對女性心理的尖銳刻畫、對愛情與利益主義的探討等等，都是在《山》片之前未出現過的題旨或關注。超過3小時的宏闊篇幅不住變化多端，大起大收，可謂美不勝收。（舒琪） 映後談 講者：黃淑嫻博士 嶺南大學中文系副教授、作家，著有《女性書寫：文學、電影與生活》、《電影中的香港故事》、《中環人》（短篇小說集）及編輯《1950 年代香港文學與文化叢書》等。 *設映後談，粵語主講 (6.12 │19:00 │ BC) […]
