七位由幼稚園至小學二年級的小男孩，加入體操隊後，天天狂操，有的喊著口「一字馬」，有的笑著臉來個「空中翻騰兩周半」。有媽媽讓兒子在街市打空翻，贏取掌聲與餸菜；亦有爸爸為兒子在家中弄了吊環，讓孩子天天「十字懸垂」……領導七個體操男孩的教練，原來就是導演林育賢的「亞運金牌得主」哥哥！
林育賢花了一年多時間紀錄哥哥帶著七小子苦練，最後橫掃「全國國小體操比賽」金牌的故事。小男孩的笑與淚、父母的期盼、教練在體操路上的心路歷程，全令人反思台灣的體育、教育環境……娛樂性、教育性兼備，破天荒以紀錄片類型在當地票房連連報捷。

No videogames or McDonald's after school, no matter how painstaking the training is, they never quit. They are the gymnastics boys!
Seven little boys come from different families with totally different characters and temper. But they have the same goal ─ go straight to the gym after school and train themselves for the upcoming National Elementary School Gymnastics Competition. And their coach, Lin Yu-Shin, happens to be the elder brother of the director!
JUMP! BOYS shows humorous observation of the relationship between the coach and the players and it also contemplates on the world of sports in Taiwan.
