《神奇洗衣機》(台灣，19分鐘)一個女生把衣物放進洗衣機後，不可思議的事情就發生了，金馬獎最佳創作短片，劉德華主催「亞洲新星導」計劃中《人魚朵朵》導演李芸嬋一鳴驚人的首作。《莎菈珍妮》(南韓，20分鐘)是一首淒美輓歌，年老舞女在萬念俱灰後決定了結此生，影片的美術和攝影都有突出的表現。林基雲的《副標題》(新加坡，7分鐘)講舊情人見面對白不能盡信，字幕才是真話，全片一鏡直落勇奪新加坡電影節最佳導演獎。李添興的《相聚一刻》(馬來西亞，10分鐘)紀錄了一對男女關係的彌留，二人同在斗室，感情卻活像一池死水。李志偉的《那年曇花開過》(香港，25分鐘)是再版《父子情》，單親爸爸終日奔馳，唯望兒子用功讀書，生性做人，可惜兒子年紀太少，不懂爸爸的用心。(全長81分鐘)

Lee Yun-chan's The MAGICAL WASH MACHINE (Taiwan, 19min) tells a girl who loves to watch the spinning of the wash machine. One night, she puts her clothes into the wash machine, something unbelievable happened. It won the Best Short of Golden Horse Award. Kim Seong-sook's SARA JEANNE (South Korea, 20min) is about the last day in the life of an aging prostitute lives in a military base-side town. Gavin Lim's SUBTITLE (Singapore, 7min) is an award-winning short throws light on a less-than-frank conversation between two ex-lover. James Lee's A MOMENT OF LOVE (Malaysia, 10min) shows the glowing of the relationship of a young couple. Thomas Lee's OUR STEPS (Hong Kong, 24min) is a heart-warming story about a single-parent kid, Chung and his father. This summer, Chung's father wants to send him to England for better education yet he is too young to understand his father. (Total running time: 81 mins)
