“The director has an excellent visual sense, his use of images was exceptional. The emotions of the characters, the settings and visual space complemented each other to give a strong local flavour. Every aspect of filmmaking was handled beautifully, and fully demonstrative of the director’s capabilities.”

賈樟柯導演將現身「香港亞洲電影節」
Special Guest of HKAFF 2006: Jia Zhangke

「香港亞洲電影節」主辦單位很榮幸邀得剛於威尼斯影展憑電影《三峽好人》奪得「金獅獎」的國內導演賈章柯作為特別嘉賓及本屆的「亞洲新導演獎」評審。

賈樟柯將於《三峽好人》姊妹作《東》在10月7日的放映後，親臨百老匯電影中心出席討論會，與觀眾會面並交流心得。除該場觀眾外，凡持有「香港亞洲電影節2006」期間，《東》任何場次票尾的觀眾均可憑票入場參與討論會。

此外，導演亦將出席《東》於10月8日放映前之「亞洲新導演獎」頒獎典禮及放映後之討論會。

The winner of Golden Lion Award of Venice Film Festival 2006, director Jia Zhangke, will attend the discussion session after the screening of DONG on 7 Oct at Broadway Cinematheque.
Apart from the audiences of the above screening, any audience by presenting a HKAFF 2006 ticket stub of any screening of DONG will also be admitted to the after screening discussion.

Besides, being the judge of this year’s NEW TALENT AWARD, Jia will also attend the award presentation before the additional screening of DONG on 8/10 (Sun), as well as another after screening discussion.
