Before his critically acclaimed Yusef’s Trilogy (Egg, Milk and Honey), director Semih Kaplanoglu directed this delicate, minimalist drama inspired by the works of Tsai Ming-Liang. Zeynep is an introverted woman who works as a chambermaid in a hotel. She is abused by her violent father at home and has trouble connecting to people out in the real world. Meanwhile, a man who has been abandoned by his wife suffers an emotional breakdown. When Zeynep come across his suitcase by chance, she discovers a possible way out of her mundane existence.
