After all these Days

1993年，剛從電影學院畢業的王小帥自資拍攝了導演處女作《冬春的日子》，以他的好友劉曉東、喻紅——兩位中國年輕畫家為主角和故事原型，大膽影射上世紀九十年代初，中國社會前所未有的改革大潮下，迷失的人們思想也隨之轉變。該片獨樹一幟的風格成了中國獨立電影的重要代表作，十六年後，王小帥再次把鏡頭對準了當年的女主角喻紅，記錄了她現在的工作和家庭，呈現時代變遷下藝術家生活鮮為人知的另一道風景線。

Sixteen years after his famed directorial debut THE DAYS, award-winning director Wang Xiaoshuai follows with a documentary on the film's lead actress Yu Hong. Back in 1993, Yu Hong was a struggling art academy graduate and not yet married to her co-star and future husband Liu Xiao-dong. It was a vastly different time, marked with confusion and oppression, but Yu has since become one of the most celebrated female artists in China. This documentary gives an honest update on Yu Hong's work and family life since the influential DAYS.
