住在東京的矢野敦和凱是一對台日混血兒兄弟，生活幸福愉快。 台灣人爸爸一直希望可以帶他倆回自己故鄉，可是心願未成，爸 爸便病倒過世。於是，兩兄弟第一次回台灣便是隨媽媽將父親的 遺骨送回台灣中南部安葬。曾任行定勳副導的川口浩史執導的 《軌道》，將芥川龍之介的短篇小說影像化。由李屏賓掌鏡，舞 台由大正時代的伊豆改為現代的台灣，一次軌道礦車的冒險旅程 體驗少年的心靈成長。

When her Taiwanese husband dies, a Japanese woman goes to his countryside home with her two children. There, the children bond with their Japanesespeaking Taiwanese grandfather and go on an adventure with an old rail truck. Working from the classic short story by Ryunosuke Akutagawa, writer-director Hirofumi Kawaguchi transports the original story's setting from the Japanese seaside to modern Taiwan (marvelously captured through the eyes of Mark Lee Ping-Bin), allowing the young director to explore the sometimes-tumultuous relationship between Taiwan and Japan.
