十幾歲出頭，發育時期總有一股成長的騷動，擅於編舞、編劇的印導化成電影題材，把封塵的劇本拍成《青春不悔》。男主角 Rohan多年後從寄宿學校返回哲雪舖的家，家中忽然多了一個同父異母的細佬，在專橫老豆的鋼廠日日做到無停手，又迫他修讀 工程學，被困在工業小鎮的他卻一心想成為作家。清新搖滾樂、立體鮮明的人物性格，Vikramaditya寫出印度典型家庭的小故 事，帶著Rohan這樣有血有肉的少年夢，在康城一飛衝天。

Meaning "to take flight," UDAAN tells the journey of Rohan (Rajat Barmecha), who's expelled from boarding school after eight years and sent to live with his authoritarian father (Ronit Roy) and a half-brother he never knew existed. Instructed to study engineering and work in his father's steel factory, Rohan struggles to break free from the shackles of his life and pursue his own dream – to become a writer. Selected to participate in the Un Certain Regard sidebar of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, UDAAN represents a labor or love for director Vikramaditya Motawne.
